2 questions really - 1st is so obvious didn't want to create an issue about it:
Isn't it about time to declare the D5 version stable, or is it actually not stable enough to use on a production site? Management won't let us use dev versions, but this looks like a great way to do galleries. . .
Main question:
Is there a way to make captioning optional? I NEVER want to show the filename in the gallery view, but on the full node it's OK.
What I'd really like is that IF I've supplied a caption it displays, but if not just display the thumbnail with no text. I would however like the surrounding "slide" div to remain a consistent size, but I guess that's a CSS issue.

vhmauery commentedWhat's in a name? Just because it says 'stable' doesn't make it any more stable. I use it on my two production sites.
looking at the resulting html, it was easy enough to see this:
Put that in your theme/style.css file and your captions will go away.

HansBKK commentedIn general, when evaluating a module, having a version marked stable shows the world that the developer considers that snapshot to be ready for production use.
Specifically for me, having your module marked stable will allow me to use it on our site, which I would like to do; as I mentioned the powers that be don't allow dev modules on public-facing sites.
Thanks for reminding me I can use CSS to hide all captions, but I'd still like to put in this feature request:
> if I've supplied a caption it displays, but if not just display the thumbnail with no text
IOW give an option to never display filenames, either explicitly set or nothing.
And thanks for your work on this excellent module!
