Hi,

I've uploaded advanced_forum and forum_access and tried to restrict one role from posting to one forum. I went to the particular forum and ticked the View this Forum check box but did not tick the Post to this forum check box.
I logged in as a user that is only a member of that role and the user can both access and post to that forum (instead of being able to view but not post to it).

Another user from another role for which I did not tick any of these check boxes is indeed, as should be, unable to even view that forum.

Yes, sorry, I am new at this. I found my problem. The User permission setting were overriding the individual setting. My fault. Perhaps worth noting it somewhere in the user docs.
