Hi,

I am testing quiz 3 and have the following question I want to use quiz to build a questionaire and want to use the multiple choice functionality.
Is it possible to have a question, say when did you hear about this problem?
And have the answers:
A one year ago
B two years ago
C long before two years ago

And than have point depending on the answer they give?
So not A is right or A en B are right, but all of them are right except the points are depending on which one they score?

Thanks a lot in advance for your answer on this!

greetings,
Martijn

I don't know of a way to translate an answer to a specific *point value*. Using the personality-style test, you can assign it to a category... but I don't know if that addresses your needs.

I am thinking alone this line.

Answer A is 10 points
Answer B is 20 points
Answer C is 30 points.

So scoring a multiple choice answer gives a certain amount of points.
This is with all questions in the quiz and in the end the amount of points is summed and than a result-score comes out!

The present functionality I can only say multiple answers are good, but then the user has to score all answers, right?

Is this a better explanation as what my need is please?
Thanks for your quick reply!

greetings.
Martijn

Exactly what Im looking for.

It should be a brand new question type, I think, based on multiple choice. If works with userpoints, it will be perfect.

Can someone help us?

Thanks in advance.

Now quiz 6.x-3.x-dev has userpoints integration.

Thanks sivaji.

The feature we are requesting should have two ways to implement, in my mind:
1-) multichoice + quiz action (under development) / multichoice action (need to develop)+ userpoints intergration
quiz action is for a finished quiz. I think a multichoice action is better because score can be assigned to each question.

2-) a complete new question type

which is better?

I need this functionality too for a personality multichoice quiz where each answer has different weight (points) and different results are associated with points ranges.

I found active issues discussing this functionality: http://drupal.org/node/341512#comment-1139277 , http://drupal.org/node/329931#comment-1529310 , #322405: Quiz Questions Support and even an old patch at http://drupal.org/node/90859#comment-460456

I am willing to help testing.

Hi, following this discussion I would like to ask the following. I have a multiple choice question like:

What is your judgement on the Nepalese governmental situation?

Answers possible

- Great, the king is not in power anymore
- OK
- Bad
- Terrible

Every answer can be correct in the point of view of the user, but I want to be able to score every answer differently.
Is this possible already?

Thanks for going into this in advance
Greetings, Martijn

Is this the same as http://drupal.org/node/476382 Multiple choice with 4 choices correct, only one can be chosen

Hi d-b, Yes sort of think so, will mark this one duplicate while the other is more clear in the current development. greetings, Martijn
