With all the patches that have been posted since RC5, it think it would be a good idea to issue a RC6 version to see how it all fits together. Maybe a "features freeze" would also facilitate a 1.0 version...

I'm still confused to where this module is going: there's patches here and there and it's almost impossible to test the new features added. Can someone be kind enough to publish an up to date module or put it in the cvs tree?

The most recent dev version of filebrowser with the "htaccess support" patch is available at

described "drupal filebrowser module".

The module additional feature allows one to hide the default header ("displaying ...") and/or footer ("... files totaling in... bytes"). The default header/footer is hidden when you set your own header/footer file, which is analogous to the apache behavior.
