I really like your module -- highly configurable!

I suggest that you add more animated GIFs to the module (or at least explain where we can get more). I am using one generated from here:

Thank you for your worm feedback

Actually I generated the included animation from the same site you mentioned.
I prefer not to add images to the module package due to copyright and licensing issues.
I added a reference to this page you mentioned in the module's documentation.
So people may generate their favorite animation

To replace the animation, you can just upload any image you like to your site and change
the image link under configuration Image or Animation.

I am not familiar with any GNU animations/libraries, if you know any you may add them
to the module's documentation.. under resources

The link is broken. It is http://drupal.org/node/338935

Please also consider adding a link to your documentation from within the configuration screen of your module. Or, providing a hook into Advanced Help would be great!

This is exactly what I did. And I was careful NOT to upload it to your module directory. Should I upgrade the module in the future, my graphic would be blown away. Instead, I upgraded to my theme directory. You should consider adding this not to your doc.
