I've tried all combination with the permission available... but i still have this problem:

all the user except the admin can't manage job applications!
The user can't cancel his application.
The resume seeker can't cancel and manage the applicant of a job.

I don't really understand what you are trying to say...

As far as I know, a jobseeker will not be able to cancel a job application because realistically, it does not make sense.

Its like a job seeker wants to apply for a job so they email in their resume. Now what you are asking is that they recall that email....not possible as far as I know.

all the user except the admin can't manage job applications!

You have to create a role (probably called "employers") and go to admin/user/access and them enable "manage job applications" for that role. Now all those users with that role will be able to access job/applications

Hope that helps.

I know... my english is not to good!

1) I think it is useful for a user to delete his "applications", for example if he finds work and no longer wants to be apply for a different job. But it is a secondary isssue.

2) I think I know what needs to be done. I created the roles, I have granted planning permission, the link "manage job applications" appears in user profile, but there are no jobs applications they applied!

The # 2 i think it is a bug or a conflict with other modules.

This is more of a feature request. However, when a jobseeker applies for a job, an email is automatically sent to the employer who is posted the job. So how then can the jobseeker cancel the "application"? The email would have already been sent. If the jobseekers no longer wants to have a resume, simply delete it. Another option is to use a module like Auto Expire that can expire the nodes after a certain date. Check out Node expire as well.

I am trying to understand what you are saying....are you saying that when you click on "Manage job applications" you are not seeing any applications? Well if no one applied to a job, then what you are seeing is correct and not a bug...

"if the jobseekers no longer wants to have a resume, simply delete it."

Here I've problems. Only admin can manage the application. User with different role, even if they have the permission regularly setted can't manage application.
Example. I'm a user with my resume already created. I see a job, I apply for it. That's ok?!
Now the user can see his application throught a view that I (admin) have created, but when the user check his user profiles, click on the link to manage job application, will find a blank list and "No job applications.". So I think something is gone wrong!

"I am trying to understand what you are saying....are you saying that when you click on "Manage job applications" you are not seeing any applications? Well if no one applied to a job, then what you are seeing is correct and not a bug..."

You understand well but someone applied for a job!

See the images attached.

I think I know what the problem is here. The problem is the wording of the link "Manage Job Applications".

That link is for EMPLOYERS who want to manage applications for people who have applied to jobs that they (the employer) have posted.

You interpreted "manage job applications" to mean a job seeker can manage the his applications to jobs that he (the jobseeker) applied TO.

Do you understand the difference?

I agree the wording of the link can be mis-leading especially for people who are now trying to get their heads around the module.

Hi,
I thought the same thing at first but then I understood that "Manage Job Applications" allow the employer to see the job seeker's applications.
If I create a user with recruiter's role, I post a job with this user and a job seeker apply to this job
My Recruiter can see a list with the applicant.
I think that xamount understood your problem ;)
Bye
