I have installed imagecache javascript crop 5.x-1.3 and cck ImageField 5.x-2.1
The cropping is working fine with the admin role and users from the first custom role i created. However when I try to give other newly created roles access, the user in the new role can see the javascript crop link but when they click on it, they get access denied.

xamountNB: the other roles created DO have access perms to crop....I still can't figure out why they are getting access denied......is there anybody else experiencing this? This issue is really causing great distress.

longwaveIn 5.x, users must have "administer nodes", "edit TYPE content", or "edit own TYPE content" permissions for the node that the image is attached to, otherwise the access denied message will be shown. If this is still an issue please let me know exactly what permissions both the working and non-working roles have, so I can try to reproduce it.
