Right now when a new user registers, the subscription for the newsletter is not checked/active. How can I change this, so that all new users are automaticly subscribed for the newsletter?

A user must confirm using the link in the email he/she receives. This can not be bypassed to prevent spam. Only after confirmation the user will appear in the list.

What link do you mean? I do not mean anonymous users. these can not subscribe for the newsletter at all. I mean registered users. Every user can subscribe via www.XXX.de/user/X/edit/newsletter. When subscribed the user will not be mailed with any link. The emailadress is listed immediately at www.XXX.de/admin/content/newsletters/users

So what do you exactly mean?
