I got a noob question here. When i transfer my files over to live site and click on home page. Why would my sql file that i put in mysql be the only thing that actually show up?

I transferred files to Godaddy website and when I try to pull up My actual website this is part of the files information that pulled up.

"phpMyAdmin SQL Dump -- version 2.7.0-pl2 -- http://www.phpmyadmin.net -- -- Host: localhost

on your website, you import it into your database.

I have no idea of what GoDaddy hosting provides for doing that though. I presume they give you phpMyAdmin for this?

And you still need to have your Drupal files in your website directory.
