Yep, this still needs to be fixed. It's a lot of work since it involves refactoring a bunch of form handling and JavaScript code to work within the new D6 framework, but I've been working on it.

Hmm apparently I fixed ajax voting inadvertently with a recent commit for write-in handling. Probably need to refactor more eventually though. http://drupal.org/cvs?commit=167473
