Hey everyone

I'm looking into starting my own open source project with a friend and I would like some way to control all of the following:

Blog
Forum
Project timeline
Wiki

And also have seperate pages for

Developers
Visitors

Does this seem like the sort of thing that is suited for drupal? I read the drupal cookbook but couldn't really see if any of this is appropriate to drupal

Hi Gaunt,

Sorry to ask but have you really looked? Blog, forum and role specific (developers/visitors) content is possible with Drupal out of the box?!?

For wiki and project timeline you'll need some modules but there are modules available for those purposes already.

There is the http://drupal.org/project/project module. However I have heard my boss having trouble with it. He ended up with CCK and workflow.

Some examples of software dev. sites include http://taoframework.com (i think only forum, blog) and http://kineme.net (wiki, forums, downloads, beta access). Though those aren't Drupal 6.
