It would be great if when you have updates that are needed that we could use plugin manager to install the updates without having to search for them individually.

this is already a feature....
go to /admin/plugin_manager/update
there you can install updates

I found it but when I click the install updates button nothing updates, this is in Opera browser

What happens is that the modules are added to the queue, but there was a bug that prevented redirection to the install page (see #349283: Update doesn't work).
I just committed a fix.
