Hi.
I want to create frontpage for two languages, reusing existing content.
In short I want a custom frontpage for each of the languages.
Each frontpage using content consisting of existing nodes created earlier (e.g. pages), and sorted the way I want it.
I have searched and searched and are stuck.... please direct me to some online documentation
.. preferably step by step guide, that explain how I can get this done (i'm a newbeeeee).
My two versions of the site are working quite nice now....
Just want a nice frontpage for each language.
Regards

bsimon commentedYou can use multilingual variables to make Drupal display different front pages (different URLs) for each language.

If you're still having problems then maybe the best way to do create the pages is: start by making a home page in your default language (choose your default language on the content creation or content editing page for that node), and then click the translation tab to make a version of the same front page in the other language.
