Hi,
When I insert print $content it also displays the page title. I would like to hide this but all of the tutorials I've seen are uselessly complicated, can someone tell me how to do this?
Thanks!

I think you'll have to try a uselessly complicated tutorial...
...because there are several ways to accomplish this, depending on what exactly you want to achieve. Plus, you may as well start learning how to manipulate Drupal to do what you want if you intend to use it for anything custom.

I just wanted to remove page titles... The simplest, most basic way will be just find for this instance.
Lots of ways to do it
The best way is to override the template in question.
An easy, but rather unreliable and sketchy, way is to use CSS to hide the title.
You can also rip apart $node yourself and print out which values you do want displayed, you're referring to node titles.

If it were my site and I needed to remove all page titles, I would duplicate and modify page.tpl.php and remove or comment out the $title variable.

Agree with Doug. You'll have
Agree with Doug. You'll have to start digging into the tutorials. There are many ways of accomplishing this.

I have spent a couple hours
I have spent a couple hours going through various tutorials... None of them were clear enough to me, or they turned out to be irrelevant. So maybe I should reformat my question as this:
If I have a regular form, with nothing "Drupal" about it, how do I convert it to be a valid Drupal form so that it allows for CAPTCHA?
Thanks for your input guys.
Have a look at
http://drupal.org/project/page_title
This is a drupal Page Title Module.
It might help.
