I want to create a notebook for events. One notebook per event.

Is there a way to do this using this module?

This module focusses exclusively on book nodes in Drupal 5. The SQL is really designed to generate a reduced list of possible parents for any given book node. I haven't managed to update it for Drupal 6 because of differences in the book module between the two Drupal versions.

So anyway, marking this as by design, sorry.
