frjo commentedIs it still only in IE 6 there is problem?
I consider IE 6 a dead product but if someone contribute a simple and neat patch I will consider it.

Surprising that all this talk refers to IE 6.
This issue is very much true and alive for IE 7, the main browser on the web at this moment!!
Whenever an image is clicked upon, thickbox will display in IE 7 (as well as in IE 6) always at the top of the page. Meaning that if the original image clicked upon is not at the top of the page, but scrolled lower, one merely gets a dark gray screen with no visible thickbox image - the image is at the top waiting for you and you need to scroll up there to view it, if of course you are aware that there is an image waiting for you there.
The unaware simple page visitor just gets an empty dark screen to wonder upon!!
THIS IS CRITICAL!!
Issue is present with IE7, the main browser on the market at this point.
No issue with FF.
I hope, however, people realize that FF is a relatively marginal browser within the broader market, and being ok by FF means little to the broader public.
EDIT: Have now moved to Lightbox 2 - no bugs, better functionality, flexible configuration. Bye . . . .
