Animated gif doesn't appears on pages other than this: /admin/settings/hide-submit
Maybe there should be another gif while this one is loading :-)

optalgin commentedI'll appreciate additional information
Do you use the latest release? (6.x-1.5)
What is your script loading configuration?
Which browser do you use?; Is this bug applies to other browsers?
Do you have javascript enabled?; Does the button become invisible after clicked?
If you use text and image together does the text appear and the image not?

v8powerage commentedHi
Scripts seems to be working perfectly fine, after clicking on the button it disappears, and then we have a text "Please wait", but the loading .gif image is not appearing on any other site than the module settings page.
optalgin commentedOk, so the problem might be that the image is not preloaded..
I cannot reproduce this bug, I will appreciate if you can help with some more info
1) Which browser do you use, did you try it with more then one browser
2) do you use the default image or did you uploaded one of your own
3) can you send me a link (you can also send it privately here)
Also, please upgrade to the latest release 6.x-1.5
Thanks

v8powerage commentedHi
I'm using mozilla seamonkey, default image, I'm sure I have newest version, because I downloaded it just yesterday.

optalgin commentedI've done some changes in the script and its location in the page
Can someone retest this and let me know if its still an issue..
Thanks
Comment #7
v8powerage commentedI've been testing 1.7 version and image appears at /admin/settings/hide-submitadmin settings page, it appears also when adding, previewing comments.
It's not working at the rest of admin pages (excluding hide submit settings), add node page, edit comment page.
Even without image it's still nice module, and it works (I mean button is hided and text "Please wait…" appearing), but I'd like to see feature which would hide button at login page, because for now there is no loading image, nor text "Please wait…" for this particular button.
optalgin commentedHide submit button should work also for /user/login page as well
This is really strange, the module uses the same script for all pages
I have no idea why image appears on some and don't for others..
Do you have any other javascript modules installed?
Maybe some javascript that is running on some pages?
v8powerage commentedI was testing this in pages with load of javascript, as well as with none at all (clean installation), and I'm getting the same results.
optalgin commentedThanks for your effort..
I'll try some more tests myself
Comment #11
optalgin commentedI tried to reproduce with SeaMonkey browser
On more then 4 different systems, and I couldn't reproduce this error
Can you try it on a different system?
v8powerage commentedNo I have only mac os x, but it's not system fault, that would be rather silly :-D I think this might be server problem then, maybe it's because I have openbase dir and safe mode in php…
Comment #13
optalgin commentedCan you try my test site to see if you still can't see the image :-/
Comment #14
v8powerage commentedI have the same thing :/
Comment #15
optalgin commentedThe only reason I can find is that your browser doesn't preload images for some reason
I couldn't reproduce this
Can you retest this with the new 6.x-1.x-dev release?
I have change the script maybe it will work now?
jvdurme commentedI have the same issue but I've found out that it depends on who is logged in.
Logged in as admin I can see the image everywhere. Logged in as authenticated user, I cannot see the image when the submit button is clicked.
Perhaps I'm missing something obvious... :) Any ideas?
edit: mmm, it just started working now ... weird. but i'm happy.

gregglesThanks for submitting this issue.
The 6.x branch of this module is not supported. This issue was filed against the 6.x version so I'm closing it because it doesn't seem relevant to the 7.x version.
If the issue is relevant for the 7.x version: I apologize for closing it. Can you please reopen it and adjust the version number?
