So let me get this straight. The custom CMS your company has developled and sells under the branding "netGate" is Drupal base, yet you're leading people to believe it's YOUR product?

Shame on you!

I'll have to agree. The demo clearly is Drupal, and "their" modules are Drupal contributed modules: http://rngsoft.com/?q=node/13

Looks fishy, to say the least.

We sell development, custom installation, training and support!
We sell a full service of Custom Web and Portal design and installation.
We are giving credit to Drupal, visit http://www.RNGsoft.com and look at the bottom of the page, we also talk about it on the home page content.

We are like so many other companies that sell this type of service for Drupal, PHP Nuke, Mombo and many others.

If we stated somethink incorrectly on our site, we will fix it!

We are a honest, hard working organization.

There is no need to shout. At the time Tytest wrote this, the section read:

Multi-platform: installs on Windows, Solaris, Linux, Mac OS X, and more. Compatible with Oracle, SQL Server, mySQL, and more

instead of the current version:

Multi-platform: installs on Windows, Solaris, Linux, Mac OS X, and more. Compatible with Oracle, SQL Server, mySQL, and more, we utilize a Drupal Foundation.

How I know? Because I (and some other interested parties) have screenshots.

Given all the issues expressed in the other thread, doesn't seem so wrong. Seems a reasonable observation. Very strange and easily conceived as "fishy" whether intentional or not. Glad to see the other poster note that the inclusion of "Drupal" in the content was added since the original post above. Good to see you are gradually improving things. but I think you've got a ways to go if you want to convince the community of the sincerity of your apologetic claims in the other thread.

As of recent, we have come under scrutiny from the Drupal community about some information on this site. I want to apologize profusely for the misdirection we may have created that this software is our own. the netGate software is based on the Drupal codebase, which is covered under the GNU Public License, and the extended modules created by RNGSoft are licensed under the LGPL. We, in no way, are intending to defraud our customers, the Drupal community, or any one else. My sincerest apologies also go out to Dries, as it is his hard work that made drupal possible.

netGate is a Drupal product. What we are selling is not the software, it is the service of turning a great software into a site for anyone who needs it, in collection with hosting, bandwidth and technical support.
