Hi.

I do not know how the search of plugin manager works, but I think that it holds a "database" called repository of the available modules.

Sometimes plugin manager will ask me to update this repository.

Now I want to install a new module ( http://drupal.org/project/blocks404 ) this module is completely new, see the history....
The plugin manager can not find this module, and I suspect that the repository does not contain this module.

Now for my question.

Can I trigger the repository to renew?

grtz,
Twan

Hi.

I was correct that the repository was troubling me here.

Today I installed a new site, and saw that after installing plugin manager the link for the repository is admin/plugin_manager/reload
I tried it on my old site, and voila I could find the needed module.

It would be nice to have a link somewhere on the search page, to trigger the reload of the repository.

thanx,
grtz,
Twan

How was this fixed?

The module does an automatic check if the repository is out of date, but it is not clear what the frequency of this is.

Once every few weeks a link stating that the repository is out of date. In fact the repository becomes out of date every few hours at least. Could we have a 'force update repository' option, or is there one somewhere?
