I've been attempting to get the multilingual newsletters working with D6 on my multilang site. Various tests proved that the simplenews module isnt up to par for multilingual sites. Even after testing out various different versions of the module it fails on different fronts.

One, I'm unable add a new newsletter issue in a newsletter of the secondary language and save it to be sent later. It cannot find the newsletter term upon edit. (See this bug report: http://drupal.org/node/357855).

Two, if you choose to send immediately upon creation, it doesn't know where to get the newsletter's name (again a newsletter term problem) for the subject of the mail line. It ends up sending a mail with subject: "[Unassigned newsletter] newsletter issue node title".

This issue is thus filed to represent this second error, but I believe both issues are linked in some way because the problem is with multi-language taxonomy terms for the newsletter vocab.

I'm pressed for time at the moment, but will post an addition of exactly how i've setup my newsletter vocab for multilang in a subsequent comment as soon as possible.
