I have upgraded to 6.x-1.0-rc3 Drupal core 6.8
When I edit a newsletter issue I can create it but there is no newsletter send option appearing in the page so I cant send it also despite creating the issue it does not appear in the draft newsletters section.
It does appear as a content item in Content Management which is where I access it to edit

sutharsan commentedDid you run update.php?
Did you check http://example.com/admin/settings/simplenews/general ?
philprism commentedSeems the upgrade wiped some the previous settings for simplenews administration.
I re-edited the allowable content types and the option re-appeared.

philprism commentedThanks for the prompt response.
Yes the update was run,
I got it working see my comment above
Comment #4
sutharsan commentedFrom what version did you update? The update should not wipe your settings.
philprism commentedI updated from 6.x-1.0-beta5. I had tested newsletters from this version OK hence my susrprise when the send option "disappeared" afterv upgrading.

sutharsan commentedI have installed B5 and upgraded to RC3 but can not reproduce your problem. Feel free to re-open this issue if you experience the same problem. If so, please list the selected content types of your simplenews installation before the upgrade and whether you have changed/saved the simplenews general settings.
