i tried tu use the file patch...
I downloaded patch.exe
put the files fr_3.patch and fr.po in the same directory c:/bin
used the Dos command
c:\bin patch fr_3patch
I get as a result in the command box title
c:\windows\system\cmd.exe\ - patch fr_3.patch
and nothing happends
How do I have to use the patch file?
thanks
ps: my problem is that despite the presence of the fr.po file in simlenews/translations
the module is totally in English.; and my other modules are correctly tanslated...
thanks for your help

You should NOT use this patch.
po files get only imported on installation. not later.
You can also add the file in the interface translation - import tab.
As said, use l10n_update module and you'll get much better translations from the community server.

Many, many thanks.
I have been fighting for days.. and I just had to run the module and everythink is translated!!
I wonder why this module is not suggested to all people installing a foreing language!
