Hi there, I've been using i18n for a two language site and not had too much trouble.
The problem is now when I'm adding another language and have to have different things translated in each language + access to the default language in any case.
Specifically I have English (default), Hebrew & Spanish. Anything that is in English only (but no language set) is fine, but as far as I can see if I want something (anything) translated into one language but not the other, then either I have to have a copy of the English as the other language or it just doesn't show anything.
This goes for menus, content and taxonomy.
Am I correct? is there any way around it? Or is there something I'm missing?
Thank you
Rachel

pkej commentedHi Rachel, I think I have the same problem as you, there are some options in admin/settings/language/i18n/configure which are as follows:
It seems to work well in 6.x-1.0, but I noticed, just now that you are asking for 5.x-2.4. Take a look at the same place and see if it might be of help.
Unfortunately it doesn't apply properly to views.

jose reyero commentedRight, "if I want something (anything) translated into one language but not the other, then either I have to have a copy of the English as the other language or it just doesn't show anything."
(Unless you have language less items that show up for any language)
