Available update module not showing updated version

I'm not sure whether this is a serious problem or not but the Available update module is not showing the updated version of the Voting API. I've installed the Voting API version 5.x-1.6 on several occasions but the Update module still says I am running 5.x-1.5. I Completely un-installed the version using the 'Uninstall' function on the Module page and still it shows the wrong version when re-installing.
