Forum Topics not showing

Can you share? I tried the steps in the link but they didn't work. The forums are listed but no topics are listed when I view inside a board/forum.

turns out my issue was related to having node form rearrange installed. Seems to be a bug. However, there are lots of reasons the forum topics might not show up.

i tried uninstalling both forum and node form rearrange and reinstalling forum first, added topics and then installed node form rearrange but its still working so it might not be node form rearrange that's causing it.
