Don't confuse access permission to a node with permission to subscribe.

So you are saying in order to protect the pages we have to use node access ? There's little point to subcribing to a newsletter if it's already visible to visitors, just trying to understand how it's suppose to work.

I would say subscribing has to do with receiving the e-mail with a sent newsletter issue, nothing more, but I'll let Sutharsan answer :)

@Sohpia: by all means, feel free to give your own. The issue list is a community effort where all can contribute what they can. I'm not the one to answer all questions, all can. If it assures you, I read all issues and /will/ respond when things are heading in a wrong direction.
