Preload info window content

I have an issue with my info windows in that they don't appear big enough to surround all the content within them. I have imagefield images in them, and the images are being displayed half off the window - not pretty.

I posted a support request about this here thinking I'd have to set the height of the windows manually, but have since come to realise that the problem occurs because the images haven't loaded when the height of the window is calculated and set.

Therefore, how would I go about preloading images (or content in general) for info windows so that the height is correctly set?
Any assistance would be much appreciated!
