Example (translated)

node/1 = Photo Gallery (English)
node/2 = Galerie de Photos (French)
node/3 = Galeria de Fotos (Portugues)

when Im on the node/1 and click on the french flag, the node doesnt automatically switch to node/2, it remains on node/1 even the interface switched to french

I have the same issue with language switcher. The node does not switch to translated node. I am using version 5.x-2.5.

Did you enable any kind of language-detection in "/admin/settings/language/configure" (e.g. path-prefix)?

no because the main idea is that the user visit the home page in english, whetever country he belongs, than has to change to his language by click on the flag

I appologize for the delay. At least with Drupal6 language selection did only work after enabling a Path-prefix (or another way of detecting the language from the url).
I currently don't know whether this is a strange behaviour of my installation, a bug or the intended way of working.

My issue is because I did not use translation switcher block, but use language switcher block. it works now. Thank you.
