Anon users Administer Write-in Votes

We have a polling site that is allowing anonymous users to vote on ranking polls. Authorized users can add write-ins, but anonymous users can only vote.

What we have discovered, though, is that the anonymous users have the "write-in" tab (where the edit tab would be) and any anonymous user can promote write-in votes to regular choices and merge write-in votes together.

We are using a 6.9 version of acquia drupal, and the most recent build (Feb 9) of Advanced Poll with the Drag-and_drop functionality.
