Duplicate screws up branching

Description
Duplicate function still screws up with hierarchies and associating things correctly (if it's more then 1 level). To replicate this error nest a bunch of content and then call the duplicate function. A bunch of the values will be nested correctly and then seemingly random ones won't. Still investigating the issue.
