module to lock user account after failed login attempts

Does anyone know of a module to lock a user account after a given number of failed login attempts? I searched and found a module request from 2007 (http://drupal.org/node/156044) where someone was looking for that functionality but I don't see that such a thing has been written. I dont want to start writing code if it already exists.
Thanks,
Barrett

There's the http://drupal.org/project/user_disable module that does exactly this, but it's currently only available for d5. It's not a very large module, so it shouldn't require too much effort to upgrade it for d6.

Thanks, WorldFallz. Don't
Thanks, WorldFallz. Don't know why I wasn't able to find that.

I don't know why either-- it took me a bit of searching to find also. Had I not remembered seeing it before, I probably would have given up thinking it didn't exist, lol.

In case anyone else is
In case anyone else is looking, I also found the Login Security module. The two modules are apparently (http://drupal.org/node/311738) very close in the functionality they provide and Login Security has at least a D6 dev version available.

Also seems to be used by more people-- perhaps that's why the other module hasn't intitiated an upgrade yet.
