Each item returned on the results page needs to have "Install", "Upgrade" and a "Remove", or "Remove" button. (Depending on what can be done.) When pressed it should activate a dialog like the one seen here: http://joshuarogers.net/sites/default/files/plugin_manager_ftp_login.png

Does that really make sense though? That would kind of eliminate the whole "queue" idea, which i think is still valuable. I think it would make sense to have those buttons, but when you press them, they become greyed out (or something), indicating that you have *unsaved changes*, and then after you've picked all the changes you want to make, you would press "apply changes" at the top, at which time you would be asked for your password.
