Is there a way to copy remote images and store them locally in Drupal (imagefield) so that you can work on them with Imagecache?

I am working on a site that import rss feeds with pictures and need a way to make thumbnails.

I can archive images locally with http://drupal.org/project/get_image but I need a way to work with the images....

Tnx for the link Keyz, but I need something like http://drupal.org/project/remote_file - the only problem with remote_file is that you have to do everything manually.
