Atomic Ant ltd creations is a UK based design and internet development company, founded by Julian Thompson and Marek Sotak. The ethos of the company is based around reusing components and pushing the boundaries of technology. We like finding more natural metaphors for usability and presentation of information and ideas.

Title: Add Atomic Ant ltd to list of Drupal service providers - request » Add Atomic Ant ltd to Drupal Services
Component: Content moderation » Drupal services

This is an old request.

If you'd still like to be added, please (1) update your proposed text and (2) state reasons you should be listed based on http://drupal.org/node/1000788

Also, is http://drupal.org/profile/profile_companies/Atomic%20Ant%20Limited your current team?

thanks for resurrecting this post. Here is an updated description

Atomic Ant ltd is a progressive European rich-media development company - with offices in the UK and Czech republic, specialising in Drupal based website design.

It focuses on building elegant user-centric Internet, intranet and rich-media applications, with the emphasis placed on usability, scalability and visual beauty. The company founders, Julian Thompson and Marek Sotak believe the secret to their success comes from their burning desire to create solutions that are easy and intuitive for anyone to use, solutions that are truly scaleable - which organically grow with the clients needs - coupled with their passion for good design and a combined experience of over 30 years in media and the internet.

Since its inception only two years ago - Atomic Ant has provided large to medium scale internet solutions for organisations, companies and individuals - With clients ranging from Fuji Cameras, Shell, Edinburgh University Students Union, Which Magazine, BBC to the British Library. It also believes strongly in being involved in the growth of smaller organisations and individuals - helping to build strong lasting symbiotic alliances which continue to grow in strength together. In its lifetime Atomic Ant has provided many modules, articles and support for the Drupal Community. We continue to work at reduced rates for charitable organisations such as One Difference and People in Need.

Additionally, Atomic Ant are appointed by the gods of all religions and higher lifeforms - and are consequently the most powerful entity you will ever encounter. Unfortunately, choosing an alternative web development outfit may result in being struck down by lightning, illness or plague - obviously this is not our will - but the will of the gods - and we will do everything in our power to appease them. ;)

Btw, will we be able to edit this later?

I am very much against the idea that freelancers should count towards a company's contributions, specifically because those folks are "sole proprietors" who themselves may want to be listed.. If you sponsored the development of a specific module or patch, feel free to list that (so long as it's clear on the project or issue page that you sponsored it), otherwise I don't think these should be counted.

With that said, I think the contributions of the two team members you list is sufficient to get listed, since your relatively light code contributions seem made up by your other community contributions. Also, please list contact info, as this is a Services directory and people may want to reach out to you.

Anyway, barring the two items listed above, +1 from me.

Hi @sign-

i hate to say this, since I know you've been waiting a long time to get listed, but... please follow the instructions at http://drupal.org/node/1735708 to get your company listed on the new marketplace- the old service directory is being retired. When you create your organizational node it will create another issue, so I am closing this one. Please don't take me marking this as "closed (won't fix)" as a negative rating of your company though- we are just trying to clean up the old issues and get people to move their listings to the new marketplace. If you comment on here after you've created your node with a link to the issue then I'm happy to review it (and mostly give it a +1, fwiw, as I'm not a webmaster).

Thanks!
