All of a sudden after a yr of use, My IP address as host is being banned... I remove the ban via a differnt computer, but cannot seem to avoid being re-banned. Pls tell me what is causing this....

ip_login does not 'ban' IP addresses, if you're IP isn't recognized you can always login via your user name and password.

A core IP ban wouldn't allow username/password fallback. It does seem like you need to look at other modules for the cause of the ban. I'd re-assign this to a different module's issue queue, but there isn't a list of other candidate modules you're using in the issue.
