After upgrading from 6.9 to 6.10, my multilingual site is completely broken.
Before the update menus in arabic, french, german and default english only showed up in their respective languages. Now they all show up on all languages.
The Main page shows all languages, whereas before it only showed the pages promoted to the front page in the language.
The Blocks also show up for all languages.
So my main page shows all languages and all menus for all languages.
I've seen this before, and the only solution I found was to completely rebuild the site from scratch
I noticed in the update that it dropped a language table and created a new one.
Is there anything I can do other than recreating my entire site from scratch again?

deadmalc commentedThis is the second time this has happened to me, as I have already had to recreate my site from scratch.
Am I missing something?

deadmalc commentedI guess at the moment this module, and drupal just isn't 100% ready for internationalisation.
So Guess I'll be doing this every so often until it is :-(

deadmalc commentedneed to investigate this further and find problem, and submit to drupal core updates possibly.
Anyone else seen this?
I'll try an update again soon
Comment #4
deadmalc commentedIt appears that i18n module got removed during the update to drupal 6.10.
I'm not sure how or why - whether this was me or not, I can't imagine drupal doing this, but there again I can't imagine me doing it either.
I've had this happen before during an update, so I think it's just one to be aware of...bizarre, very bizarre
