Hi,
I would like to be able to use the url to build a page with blocks per group.
So if the url is www.reizen-naar.nl/india/kerala then It would be great if I could use the India and Kerala Groups to show on two different panel-page pane-blocks, likewise other views with arguments.
So my feature request is to be able to use arguments like $argument and arg(n) in a view or block for the weblinks module. Is this possible please?
Thanks a lot for going into this please. And if you do not understand this feature request I am very happy to fill you in on email.
Greetings,
Martijn

nancydruWhy do you need Views for this? You can already do http://www.example.com/1234, where 1234 is the group number for the link. As for how that displays, URL-aliases take care of that (even Pathauto works).

summit commentedHi Nancy, can this information also be gotten out in blocks, so the url is one, and underneath are related to the url different subgroup blocks showing?
May be a too far fetched feature request..but my goal is to have pages with underneath blocks with weblinks which are hierarchical subgroups from the group in the url.
may be you like on email a sort of scetch as to what I am referring to?
Thanks a lot again in advance for your reply!
Greetings,
Martijn

nancydruIt sounds to me like you are asking for the "Related" block that was just implemented. If you tag the page (or any node) with a group from the Weblinks vocabulary, a block will appear (assuming you enabled it) showing the links from that group. Obviously, you may place that block in any theme region you have defined.

summit commentedHi Nancy,
Looks great! and if the weblinks vocabulary is a regular vocabulary (chosen instead of weblinks vocabulary), will it work than also?
I will test it this week! Tomorrow Yoga, so no computer :)

Martijn

rmiddle commentedWeblinks Vocabulary is setup just to make sure there is one there. You can add weblinks content-type to any Vocabulary just switch to it in the weblink settings.
Thanks
Robert

nancydruIf there is more than one vocabulary enabled for the weblinks content type, the module will detect this and show an option at the top of the general settings page to set which one you want to use.

summit commentedHi Nancy,
Yes I saw this, and yes I am using my already available vocabulary. So not using the weblinks vocabulary. Hopefully than all functionality is working also.

Martijn
