Special Instructions

We are promoting the use of the correct language and language code of the Philippine national language in Drupal. To do this correctly, please follow these instructions:

1. Upload and extract the translation files in the root of your Drupal folder. The .po files will then be automatically placed to their correct folders.
2. Go to Administer > Site configuration > Languages > Add language.
   Under Custom Language, write fil for the Language code, and Filipino for both English and Native Language Names. If you (will) have a multilingual site, you may want to add a path prefix or Language domain - please use fil for that. For the direction, choose Left to right
3. Click on Add custom language
4. Adjust other settings depending on your site's needs
