For several projects I've been using ImageCache to build stuff like thumbnails for certain images. The problem is that the Crop and Crop and Scale presets do the cropping on default coordinates, which not always is the best part of the image. A cropping UI would be great for a user who wishes to crop the image manually (in all of it's different presets) without the risk of cropping it the wrong size.

If there is a way that I'm missing to achive this I would love to know it!

There is a module, Imagecahce javascript crop but it's under development for D6. Who knows what is going to happen with this module as I noticed that the last dev sanpshot was uploaded on nov-08 (a kind of long time ago).

z.stolar: this crops the image, not the thumbnail nor it doesn't interfere imagecache.
