Hello,

I am having a strange problem with IMCE.

When using the FCK editor, I click on 'browse server' and it results in a 404 page not found error. This problem is limited to the local network only.

We have determined that the issue is with the DNS functionality in the Windows Domain Controller.

It appears that the domain controller is not allowing certain (illegal Windows) characters through, resulting in a page not found error.

The path is:

http://www.mysite.com/drupal/?q=imce&app=FCKEditor|url@txtUrl|width@txtWidth|height@txtHeight

It looks like the pipes (|) and (@) symbols are the problem.

Has anyone experienced this problem? If so, would you have any recommendations as to how to fix it?

Can you open http://www.mysite.com/drupal/?q=imce ?

I had a similar issue (and couldnt access ?=imce either), but then i realised that i forgot to assign an imce profile to my current role. Assigning solved the problem.
