Today I downloaded and installed 6.x-3.2 as usual and tried it out. I was a little puzzled when checking in the nitobe.info file indicated that this was written for the 7.x engine, but I proceeded. Then I found that the random image didn't work. Tracked this down to file system calls that were for 7.x, not 6.x.

Next I downloaded and installed 6.x-3.1 as usual. In this case, the nitobe.info file was what I expected, the random image worked, and the code used file system calls for 6.x.

Perhaps the wrong code got uploaded?

I see the same thing although for me, the primary menu just above the header image doesn't show up at all with 3.2 as mentioned in the following issue:

http://drupal.org/node/393572

I also noticed the random image selector doesn't work.

I can confirm that in the 6.x-3.2 version, the header image does not work.

I also confirm the mention of the 7.x code base in the .info file and that the random header image is broken.

Ugh. I hate CVS.

I've set the supported release back to 6.2 and will address this problem as soon as I get a free moment.

Thanks all for catching this.

I've created a new release that I think fixes this:

nitobe 6.x-3.3

3.3 is on http://d-theme.com/nitobe. Looks ok. The random image works.

The Drupal Available updates report shows:

Nitobe 6.x-3.3 Not supported!error
Recommended version: 6.x-3.2 (2009-Mar-05)
