Users with no simplenews permissions can still see 'Manage my subscriptions' link in the user profile page. If a user can't subscribe, they shouldn't really be able to see this link.

Please add a screenshot and describe all steps to reproduce this error. By default the link on the profile page does disappear when removing the permission.

my bad. I had given the permission to authenticated users, forgetting that the permissions cascade.
