Hello

I would need to display a fixed string when date field is left empty ("s.d.", for "whithout date" in french). I didn't see any way to do so.

I would be grateful if this feature could be added, if technologically possible.

Not exactly a duplicate, but I think it applies:
#523218: Default value for To date: Blank should stay blank

If that gets in, you could probably add some sort of theme function to do what you want.
