I think a great addition to simplenews would be to expose tokens so that for example it could be used with Easylogin module for example.
The idea is to send emails to users that contain links that AUTOMATICALLY log them in to their accounts.
I believe the simple solution is for simplemail to utilise tokens for their mails.
