Description

Hi, thanks for at great module (even i still sometimes cant get it to show the map in IE7).

I want a map where people can add multiple locations, so they can show what cities and countries they have visited. So i browsed the Module section and found several, also 2 or 3 completely new modules for doing that, so the function must be rather popular, you should think ?.

They all use external mapping sites to import the maps, ok fine. I now have been working with several of them for the last days for testing and they work nicely.

But, i cant let go of the thought that we have this great module already and was wondering if it could not be possible to do the same with this? Keep it in one module, all drupal instead of several solutions and even external ones.

I have no skills in programming, so basically i don't know if what i'm asking is at all possible, easy, hard or even impossible, but just a thought.

Thanks for listening :D

Hi,

I bump this feature request to know if it is planned to implement, one day.

I installed this module for a friend that have a database of some food shop. The problem is that there are some shops that are groups, so they have the same name, but lots of addresses inside a country. To add them all, he created one node by shop, and copy/paste the shop description in the different nodes.

The result is that google find a lot of duplicated content which is bad for search engines...

The best way to handle that would be to be able to specify several addresses for one node

As he already fill more than 1000 shop, it's too late to migrate to another solution. In addition, node map module have a very nice UI, far better than others complex modules that could handle multiple location for a node.

That's why I wonder if this feature is planned, one day.
