I'm a total newbie, so I hope this is the right place to post. Apologies if not and please advise where.
I have got the jobsearch module working and it is nearly exactly what I need on many levels. I have set it up so that the resume is more like an application form and would like it to automatically apply on clicking the submit button on the resume rather than requiring a visit to "my resumes" and then clicking on apply. Is there any way to set this up that a newbie like me could do?
Many thanks.

xamountHi susih. Yes this is the right place to post support questions for the jobsearch module (only).
The way the jobsearch module was designed is probably not going to work in your case.
There are resume content types and there are job content types. The assumption here is that a jobseeker can apply to more than one job. Getting it to work in your case (that is, to make the jobseeker be automatically applied to a single job) involves tinkering with the module and as far as I know, can not be done out of the box with the jobsearch module.
If you only have one job at a time and you would like people to submit applications to that job, maybe the Webform module will fulfil your needs. With that module you can create a webform (either for each job as you get them or create a drop down field with your jobs so the applicant can choose which job they are applying for).
Hope that helps...
