It is not possible currently. What are you looking for: Disable a node from getting linked, or disabling the linking of nodes within a certain node? What sort of UI would this be: something the administrator can do, or a checkbox somewhere on the content creation form?
Yes, I am looking to disable the links (or hover/tooltips) on a given page containing glossary terms. On the home page for example, we would not want the distraction of the links. But on another page/section we might.
I have worked with the Glossary module and the developers created a tag: [no-glossary] [/no-glossary]. Anything that falls between the open/close tags won't be linked. This is a good solution because it provides the freedom to exclude a node or part of a node and could even be used in node templates if the module were installed on a live site where content types couldn't be changed. It becomes especially powerful when combined with the already existing "Search the content of these types:" function.
I realize that the issue on my site could be resolved via content types within the Glossify settings in admin but the sheer number of content types required for a given site creates challenges without adding to it. Also, this doesn't help if the glossary is being installed on an existing site. Though I would not remove the current functionality - it is very useful.
By the way, the module is very good - thank you for your work on it.
No, this module is not capable of using the [no-glossary] tag. I suggested it as a feature request. The Glossary module does use this feature but it does not operate in the same manner as Glossify.
hmmm... it will be [no-glossify]...[/no-glossify]. period.
At some point I will add the cousin of this feature - a checkbox into the Glossify UI to disable a specific term - to never replace its occurence with a link...
Can anyone please explain me how this you are supposed to add a 'non-parsable tag'? I would like to disable Glossify in a specific view. Thank you very much in advance. I'm using D7.X 4.0 dev version of this module.

Breakerandi commentedHello, how did you do that this "[no-glossary] [/no-glossary]" -Solution ? That would be perfect for me. Perhaps you got a patch for me?
Or the module maintainer can include something equal to the next release?
Please!

rsvelko commentedSince this would be easy to implement I mark it critical.
We need to think of a good name for the tag.
I'm thinking - why not call it just like the other module: [no-glossary] - cause we are working toward integration...

Ivo.Radulovski commented+1 for the "no link" Tag implementation

Ivo.Radulovski commentedalready possible -> just define non-parseable tag and use it inside text
