Description

Hi, I really need some help here. This module creates the node type activitystream, but there no node access settings for this node type. Consequently the user is not able to edit, unpublish or delete the node, unless the user has 'administer nodes' checked as permission.

I understand that activitystream is just that...a stream of outside information which _should_ not require editing and certainanly not creating, but the user should be able to delete or unpublish items.

Is there a way for activitystream to get displayed under 'node module' permissions settings in www.mysite.com/admin/user/permissions?

If this is by desgin, which I assume it is, could you please help me by showing how I could do this for my site?

I really appreciate any help.

Regards,

Marius

Hi, I'm still looking for a solution. We are going into alpha test stage and users should be able to perform action on these nodes without needing the complete administrate nodes permission.

Users should be able to edit, unpublish or assign certain activity stream nodes to groups. Could there be a possibility to achieve this?

Marius

It works beautifully! Now I have to see if it is possible to make the "Publish Content" module aware of these settings. Could you help with this maybe? I'm sorry, I realize this is beyond the scope of support, but I actually wouldn't know how. The module in question is, http://drupal.org/project/publishcontent, which exposes two tabs and views handlers to publish and unpublish content without having to go to the edit screen.

Especially for this module it would be handy as people can easily organize the many feeds that come in and without having to go to the edit screen they can unpublish or publish it in a view or the node view.

I can also post a request there if you like better, but I thought I'd ask if you might have any clue yourself. Otherwise feel absolutely free to mark this fixed.

Thanks for your help, your patch is greatly appreciated and, if you wish, maybe included as a commit!

Regards,

Marius
