With workflow module, triggers support automatic notification of authors and moderators as content transitions between states. If nothing being done after a node reach that state, can a reminder being sent?

This is something Rules can do, but would it works together?

At this stage I wouldn't know why it would not work.
Have you tried it yourself?
I and the community would love to know what your experiences are with using Revisioning in combination with Rules.
