The e-mail address '[EMAIL] may not create article items

I'm having trouble getting this module to work properly.
I have setup all the settings correctly, and it is able to check and retrieve emails from the email address I gave it.
When I try and send an email to the address to add an article (story), it keeps sending back an email "The e-mail address [EMAIL] may not create article items". I am actually using my email that is associated with the administrator of the site, but for testing purposes, I tried to use different emails with different roles, and even tested annonymous users by giving permissions ot add/edit/delete and administer content, but each time I get that response that I cannot create article items.
I'm using drupal 6.10, and I also tried adding MailAlias module alongside, but still doesn't work. Please help! I would love to be able to update my site by email!
